Of ourselves...we are the only ones we can’t get rid of, while we are alive. We are thus "condemned to be free," condemned to choose the kind of beings we will become...Yet ...we are prisoners of our own desires, we are chained by our own creation. The photography bears a deep meaning, it shows redemption in inertia, rather then the will to escape the chains. It is the perfect exposure of the idea that we cannot escape of our own actions, and we embrace our own destruction. The monochrome vision makes it pure, complete...for "lost is the hope, of those who walk ...with pain in hearts".
